Lou Grace and his sons Nate and Matt created G5 Outdoors in 2000 to bring to market what they thought was the famous best dowser: an all-steel hunting tip. In 2001, they introduced the Montec hunting head. The Montec is an all-steel 3-blade point unlike anything else on the market at the time, and it remains one of the best-selling points. In 2009, G5 brought Quest Bowhunting into the archery world. Its mission was to offer a bow designed with the highest level of craftsmanship and quality the industry has ever seen, at a reasonable price.
The Quest brand's mission is to design quality bows at an affordable price, without compromise. To achieve this, they focus on two areas: innovation in design and manufacturing to create bows that are fun to shoot and perform well.
