Characteristics of 3D targets

3D targets are the result of an innovative manufacturing process. They are made in a mold where high-density foam is injected. They are then painted or decorated to give them a realistic effect.

Depending on the animal to be imitated, it is possible to add other characteristics and materials to 3D targets. For example, metal feet, iron legs or antlers ...

Manufacturers don't limit themselves to animals from our forests. Thus, you can find trolls, dragons, dinosaurs, demonic mushrooms or even zombies! As you can understand, you can really have fun with the diversity of 3D targets!

3D targets are designed with lightweight materials, but above all resistant ones. They have the particularity of being adapted to outdoor conditions: bad weather, wind, frost, etc. They also resist sunlight and humidity. Robust and solid, they have greater resistance compared to 2D models.

Nevertheless, they are not indestructible and like all targets, we can't deny that they don't necessarily handle climate changes well. We therefore invite you to store them in fairly temperate places, sheltered from humidity when you are not using them.

Moreover, they offer the possibility to simulate different actions. Life-size realistic models are particularly suitable for outdoor training. Furthermore, 3D targets can also be used in sports competitions, as 3D archery is one of the four globally recognized disciplines of archery.

Finally, 3D targets are relatively lightweight and easy to handle models. Even if their size can be cumbersome, they are still rather easy to move around in the context of a course.
