Description

Hori-Zone Redback RTS 50 or 80 lbs Mini Crossbow

This small crossbow shoots bolts at a speed of 235 fps in its 80 lbs version and 215 FPS in the 50 lbs version, it's powerful enough to shoot at 15-20 meters on a target in both 50 and 80 lbs versions and its original sighting system is perfectly adapted to these distances, however if you want to gain in accuracy you can invest in a red dot (21mm wide rail).

This crossbow pistol is highly appreciated for its sturdiness and easy-to-use safety mechanism. It is also equipped with a dry-fire prevention safety, which means you cannot release the string if there is no bolt in place because you cannot remove the safety (this prevents accidents and damage to the crossbow).

The Redback crossbow also has an automatic safety that activates when cocking.

    Bon produit en général, et bien sécurisé avec un mécanisme de détente digne des "grandes" arbalètes, proposant sécurité et anti tir à vide, ce qui n'est pas le cas sur les autres pistolets arbalètes qui ne retiennent la corde que par une simple "encoche" dans l'arbrier, ce qui se révèle parfois dangereux, notamment lorsque la corde est bien graissée, la laissant parfois s"échapper au moment du chargement du trait, ce qui est extrêmement dangereux pour l'utilisateur. Juste un petit bémol pour cette petite arbalète concernant une relative difficulté à l'armement.
