Examples of archery accessories that you can find on Hattila?

  • Vibration dampener: they absorb limb vibrations to increase shooter comfort and reduce noise. Shooting will be more pleasant. There are different models and it is advisable to check compatibility with your bow.

  • Stringer and bow stringer: this accessory allows you to string your bow without risking twisting its limbs or hurting yourself. The bow stringer will be installed on a wall, while the stringer is portable. There are two principles of stringers: tip-to-tip and tip-to-limb.

  • Berger Button: Fixed on the handle of a recurve bow at the arrow rest, it allows you to adjust the arrow's clearance from the handle and straighten, stabilize the arrow as quickly as possible when it leaves the bow.

  • Bow camouflage: By adding adhesives with camouflage patterns, you can practice field archery or go hunting with complete discretion.

  • Strings: The choice of string and material used must be made according to the bow and following the manufacturer's recommendations. Entry-level bows often have Dacron strings, while users of higher quality or high-end bows prefer less elastic fibers with better performance such as fast flight, 8125.

  • Release aid: This accessory is used with compound bows. A true extension of your hand, it's with this that the archer pulls the string to then release the arrow with a simple thumb or index pressure, or with a simple rotation movement. As you can understand, there are several types of release aids, to be chosen according to your activity.

  • Cases and covers: To avoid damaging your equipment during transport or simply to store it safely, it is advisable to acquire a case, backpack, soft case or hard case. You'll need to verify that it's suitable for your model and the right size. There are soft, hard, or semi-rigid versions.

  • Limb tips protector: A limb tip is either the end of the limb where the string is placed, or the loops at the ends of the string. The limb tip protector helps protect these fragile parts of the bow when it is placed on the ground. Made of plastic, rubber or leather, the size and shape of your protection must be adapted to your bow.

  • Arrow rest: Placed on the bow handle at its window, it provides a support point for the arrow when it is nocked on the string. It comes in the form of a simple leather or felt bow rug, but can also be glued to the bow window or fixed with a screw. The most effective ones are adjustable.

  • String silencer: To be mounted on the bow strings, they help reduce noise. Made from different materials (rubber, wool, fur...) you can make your choice according to your own criteria.

  • Stabilizer: Its purpose is to balance and add weight to the bow for more stability when aiming. It also dampens vibrations during shooting. Long stabilizers, which are more effective, are used for precision shooting, while short ones with limited bulk are rather reserved for compound hunting bows.

  • Sight: This is what allows for precision shooting. It includes the body, as well as peep sights and scopes (magnifying lens), and apertures.
