Description
Cocking winch for EK Archery crossbow Compact stock
To use this winch, you will need to replace your Compact stock with the one provided in the kit, the new stock has a rail to attach the mechanism.
This winch has been designed to make cocking your crossbow easier. It's ideal if you have arm pain or don't want to strain with the manual cocking device.
Read the user manual below and carefully look at the photos.
Winch compatible with "Compact" stocks on EK Archery JAG 2, Blade, Ballistic 370 and Accelerator 370 crossbows
Winch weight: 570 grams
Winch + stock weight: 790 grams
Kit contents:
- 1 Compact stock
- 1 cocking winch
Usage:
1) Replace the Compact stock with the new stock provided in the kit. The new stock has a rail to attach the winch.
2) Attach the winch to the stock using the provided rail.
3) Press the aluminum lever to release the ratchet
4) Pull on the hooks to grab the string, passing underneath the crossbow
5) Pass the middle of the string through the chute located at the back of the handle (this reduces the force needed for cocking)
6) Check that the winch cable passes correctly over the crossbow
7) Install the winch handle and turn until the string is held and the safety engages (turns green)
8) To release the string from the hooks, press slightly on the winch to be able to press the aluminum lever that will release the ratchet
9) You can remove the hooks and use your crossbow
WARNING!!! : Don't forget step 5 above. If you don't pass the winch cable through the chute as shown in the photos, you risk breaking your winch cable.
