Cobra R9 Simple EK Archery crossbow: beautiful technology!

To cock the Cobra R9 crossbow, simply push back the lever and bring it back! This is the greatest innovation of this crossbow, a true revolution in the field of crossbows.

The second major innovation of the Cobra R9 Simple crossbow is that it can be disassembled very easily and quickly without any tools, as you just need to use a bolt to unlock the pins that lock the stock and the bow, and voila, in a few seconds you have disassembled the crossbow, so it can be transported or stored safely and legally.

The 90 lbs bow of this crossbow shoots bolts at a speed of 263 km/h and it has nothing to envy from 150 lbs crossbows whose speed is often 230-250 km/h.

You'll notice that the upper Picatinny rail has a slot along its entire length, which serves as a rear sight, and the three small red dots on the front sight are fiber optics. It's quite good for shooting at less than 10 meters, but with a range of 20-30 meters, we recommend mounting a red dot (21mm rail) or even a scope, but you don't need to get one that's too complicated, a 4x32 is more than sufficient.

The Cobra R9 crossbow Ek Archery has an anti dry fire mechanism that engages when you insert a bolt. If you don't load a bolt and shoot, the string will be held back, and you can still uncock it very easily as specified in the manual or our video. NEVER dry fire, do not bypass the safety features to uncock the crossbow by firing without a bolt. A dry fire could break the string and/or the bow.

Still on safety, know that this crossbow is equipped with an automatic safety, it will automatically switch to the safety position when the string engages in the mechanism.

Hattila's advice: don't hesitate to invest in a target that will be effective enough to stop the 7.5-inch bolts before they penetrate to the fletching. Or switch to the 15-inch bolts of the Cobra RX, you'll lose a bit in speed but they won't be damaged by the target.
