Cobra R9 Deluxe crossbow with complete equipment to satisfy you!
To cock the Cobra R9 crossbow, you just need to push and then pull back the lever, a major innovation that revolutionizes the use of crossbows.
The second major advancement of the Cobra R9 Simple is its ultra-fast and tool-free disassembly. By simply using an arrow, you can unlock the pins that secure the stock and the bow, allowing for disassembly in just seconds. This facilitates safe and legal transport and storage of the crossbow.
With a 90 lbs bow, this crossbow shoots bolts at an impressive speed of 263 km/h (240 FPS), rivaling 150 lbs models, which often reach between 230 and 250 km/h.
This Deluxe version of the Cobra R9 comes with a red dot sight, a front grip, a stock, and a strap. This makes it an ideal package for having fun and practicing shooting at targets up to 20-30 meters!
The original plastic red dot isn't great, Hattila recommends changing it for an aluminum red dot or even a 4x32 scope if you're looking for ultimate precision (but be careful because if you group your arrows too closely, it will cost you a lot in arrows, laughs).
The Cobra R9 from EK Archery is also equipped with an anti-dry fire mechanism that activates when an arrow is inserted. If you attempt to shoot without an arrow, the string will be held, allowing you to easily uncock the crossbow, as explained in the manual or in our video. It is crucial never to dry fire, as this could damage the string or the bow.
In terms of safety, this crossbow is equipped with an automatic device that engages as soon as the string is locked into the mechanism.
Hattila's advice: invest in a target capable of effectively stopping 7.5-inch bolts to prevent them from damaging when reaching the fletches. Otherwise, opt for the 15-inch bolts of the Cobra RX; although slightly slower due to their higher weight, they will better withstand the impact against the target.

How to use the Cobra R9 Deluxe?
Do not shoot into trees or targets that are too thin and can be penetrated.
To cock the Cobra R9 Deluxe crossbow, simply push back the lever and bring it back without disassembling or adding anything.
The safety engages automatically when cocking.
The Cobra R9 Deluxe crossbow has an anti-dry fire mechanism that engages when you insert an arrow. If you don't load an arrow and shoot, the string will be held by this mechanism, and you can even uncock the recreational shooting crossbow.
NEVER dry fire, do not bypass the safety features to uncock the crossbow by shooting without an arrow. A dry fire could break the string and/or the bow.
Our recommendations regarding the Cobra R9 Deluxe crossbow:
The original red dot sight is not "great" (not very accurate but especially it easily loses its settings), we recommend ordering another one like the EK aluminum sight
To avoid damaging your arrows, we recommend purchasing a stringer for Cobra R9-RX and a special crossbow target.
Remember to lubricate the rail every 10 shots, see the difference between a well-lubricated rail and an ungreased rail:

La visée a l'oeil est bien mieux sur cette R9, sinon passer au modèle luxe un peu plus cher.
