Replacement string for Steambow Bulldog 400/440 Crossbow: short but stretchable length

The replacement string for Steambow Bulldog 400/440 Crossbow is intentionally designed with a short length that stretches with use. This length can vary from 31 to 31 1/8 inches (78.74 to 79 cm). If the brace height is higher than normal, this Steambow replacement string can still be perfectly used and will not damage the crossbow. A brace height that is too short is more damaging to your crossbow than a higher brace height.
